Police were called to Dina Lohan's Long Island home Wednesday morning after an alleged blowout between mother and daughter.

According to TMZ, the altercation started after Dina and Lindsay partied until 4 a.m. at a Manhattan nightclub (the same place where LiLo was accused of hitting a man with her car last month).

The gossip site reports that the pair got into an argument in the car on the way back to Long Island that escalated into a physical confrontation when they got home.

And according to their sources, Lindsay was injured in the fight.

"Police conducted an investigation and determined a verbal argument had occurred between Lindsay and her mom Dina," a Nassau County police spokesman tells E! News. "There's no criminality and no arrests were made."

Adding fuel to the fire, E! learned the person who called 911 was none other than Lindsay's dear old dad, Michael Lohan.

"I did call the police at Lindsay's request and Lindsay even asked that I record the conversation because she was being held against her will by the limo driver at Dina's instruction," Michael said. "There is a lot more to it than the police report says and it's going to come out!"

Too bad Michael has cried wolf too many times. Whenever he's involved, it's always going to look like a publicity stunt.

On the mend

Tori Spelling has revealed that she developed a life-threatening condition while carrying her newborn son, Finn.

Twenty weeks into her pregnancy, Tori was diagnosed with placenta previa, which causes severe bleeding. According to E!, the condition resulted in part from conceiving Finn just one month after daughter Hattie's birth and having had three prior C-sections.

Tori then spent the next 10 weeks in the hospital and four months on bed rest.

"I just remember thinking, I can't leave three children behind," she revealed to Us Weekly after her doctor told her she could die from the condition.

She endured nine massive bleeds, gave birth and then had emergency surgery three weeks later. "When they put him in my arms I was like, 'We made it,' " she told Us. "We have an insane bond. We've been through hell and back."
