GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — The Phoenix Coyotes have signed free-agent defenseman Mathieu Brisebois (Mathew BREEZE-bwah) from the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Terms of the deal weren't announced Wednesday.

The 20-year-old Brisebois has 17 goals and 50 assists in 58 games this season with Rouyn-Noranda.

In 173 regular-season games over three seasons with the Huskies, Brisebois has 37 goals and 104 assists.

Brisebois played for Lewiston in the QMJHL in 2009-10.
