Craig Romney, one of Mitt Romney’s five sons, visited with Virginia campaign supporters in Prince William County today thanking them for their support.

“We’ve got to keep it up,” Romney said. “There are only two months left and there is not much time.”

Romney explained that his father’s turnaround of the Olympics was one of the reasons Americans could be confident that he was the right man to be president.

Romney told a story that during the run up to the Olympics, the producers at the Today Show contacted his father promising an interview -  if he would do the “Skeleton.” (At the time the skeleton was a new Olympic event where bobsledders slide headfirst at speeds up to 80 mph) Romney explained that he and his schoolmates came to the track to watch his father as he sped down the ice while the cameras were rolling.

“To me that was a critical moment to turnaround these games because people saw that this guy literally would do anything to make these games a success, including the risk of personal injury,” Romney said.

About 50 Romney supporters and volunteers showed up for the event and thanked Craig for making a visit and express their support for his father.
