Two Prince George's County women were among three tourists in Jamaica who were killed in a traffic collision, the Associated Press is reporting.

Authorities say three women were killed on Wednesday when their car crashed into a minibus just east of Montego Bay.

The victims were identified as 53-year-old Claudette Grant and 34-year-old Vanessa Brown, both of Upper Marlboro, and 76-year-old Gloria Capleton of Brooklyn, N.Y.

Police said the driver of the car carrying the women is hospitalized but expected to recover. They say another passenger in the car received medical treatment and was released, along with the driver and several passengers of the minibus.

Police said Thursday that they are investigating what caused the accident.
