We're slowly hearing about some of the musical acts that have been booked for the upcoming Republican and Democratic Conventions. The Creative Coalition went with some oldies but goodies, announcing this week that the B-52s would headline a benefit gala to be held Sept. 5 during the DNC in Charlotte, N.C. On the Republican side, the organization is bringing in Journey for an event in Tampa, Fla. This means we could be treated to a She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named sighting, as the alleged White House crasher and former "D.C. Housewife" is dating the band's guitarist, Neal Schon.
