A man is in custody in connection with the slaying of a Forestville man early Monday.

Prince George's County police have obtained an arrest warrant for 22-year-old Tairon Dominique Dingle in the shooting death of Brandon Catlett. Dingle has been charged with first-degree murder, and is in custody in the District awaiting extradition to Prince George's County.

Around 3 a.m. Monday, police responded to a report of a man down in the 3300 block of Walters Lane in Forestville. Catlett, 21, had been shot and was pronounced dead on the scene.
