On this day, Nov. 15, in 1993, a New York judge sentenced Joey Buttafuoco to six months in jail for the statutory rape of Amy Fisher, the teenage seductress who shot Buttafuoco's wife in the face.

Fisher was 16 in 1991, when she began an affair with Buttafuoco. A year later, she arrived at the door of the Buttafuoco home and shot and wounded Mary Jo Buttafuoco. Tabloids christened Fisher the "Long Island Lolita."

Buttafuoco has become a minor celebrity, despite more jail time for solicitation of prostitution, auto insurance fraud and illegal possession of ammunition.

Fisher served six years in prison and later got into the porn business.
