On this day, May 26, in 1989, Rep. Donald "Buz" Lukens was found guilty of paying a 16-year-old girl for sex. Lukens, a Republican from Ohio, was caught on camera at a McDonald's restaurant in Columbus talking to a woman about having sex with her daughter for $40. The scandal cost him the 1990 Republican primary, where he lost to John Boehner, now the speaker of the House of Representatives....
