D.C. man arrested in Morgan State University shooting

A D.C. man has been charged in the shooting of Morgan State University student.

Keith Robertson, 20, was arrested after he was seen running from the scene of the shooting, which happened near a residence hall on campus around 1 p.m. Friday. Robertson confessed to the shooting, according to Baltimore Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi.

Robertson was charged with attempted first-degree murder, assault, and handgun-related charges.

Tyrell Okoro, a 20-year-old student and football player at Morgan State University, suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the incident, according to the Baltimore Sun. His injuries were considered non-life threatening, the Sun reported.
