A Washington, D.C. man died in an apparent bicycle accident early Saturday morning, according to police.
The man was found on the 700 block of Morton Street at 5 a.m. and taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
There was no evidence of wrongdoing or a collision. Police said that it appeared he was carrying something that came loose and became lodged in the wheels of his bicycle, causing the fall.
