D.C. police and the Department of Corrections are investigating the death of an inmate who apparently hanged himself.
Inmate Michael English died Friday afternoon, according to the Washington Post. Officials treated him at the jail, then took him to Prince George's Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead.
