D.C. police identify homicide victim in Northeast shooting

D.C. police have identified a man killed in a fatal shooting on Thursday afternoon.

R'artagnon Jose White, 34, of Northeast D.C. was found suffering from a gunshot wound on the 5100 block of 7th Street NE at approximately 1:05 p.m. Thursday, according to police.

D.C. Fire and EMS officials found him unresponsive at the scene, where he was later pronounced dead by an official from the medical examiner's office.

Police are offering a $25,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.
