The D.C. Board of Elections said Tuesday that recounts in a pair of advisory neighborhood commissioner races did not change the outcomes.

In 5E05, Joyce Robinson-Paul's margin of victory fell by one vote, but she defeated Bradley Ashton Thomas by 53 votes. Write-in candidates received a total of 24 votes.

The tally was far closer in 6A02, where Gloria Nauden defeated Drew Ronneberg by four votes out of 941 cast, a margin of less than one-half of 1 percent. The city's original count on Nov. 6 gave Nauden an eight-vote advantage.
