Mayor Vincent Gray will honor the World TeamTennis champion Washington Kastles on Monday, presenting the undefeated team with a proclamation at 12:30 p.m. on the steps of the Wilson Building (1350 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W.).

Washington posted a second straight 16-0 season, the only ones in WTT history, and the only time a professional sports team has had back-to-back perfect years. Fans are invited to attend on Monday with picture opportunities available with the King Trophy. The Kastles will provide gear, including championship T-shirts to the first 100 and “Refuse to Lose” placards.
