One of D.C.'s great fashion mysteries is over. OK, it wasn't not that great of a mystery, but to legions of young Washington women who read the blog Capitol Hill Style, the identity of its anonymous author, Belle, was an interesting question mark.

Question no more, ladies: Belle has outed herself as Abra Belke, former staffer for Rep. Denny Rehberg, R-Mont., and current lobbyist at the National Rifle Association.

Belke says lobbying has a different style code than Hill life (more flats, bigger purse) but still no jeans. "With the conflicting House and Senate schedules, I almost never get a recess," she told Yeas & Nays. "I was so excited to be able to wear jeans to work during breaks, since my last boss forbade denim in the office, but that dream really hasn't materialized."
