It's always nice to have a celebrity attached to your film, that is, unless you're the one who can really make sense of the subject. Actor Danny Glover joined filmmaker Eugene Jarecki Thursday morning to discuss Jarecki's latest documentary "The House I Live In," an in-depth exploration of the 40 year "War on Drugs" in the United States. However, Glover, who has a producer's credit on the film, got into the weeds and tripped up a bit.

Meanwhile Jarecki talked about why things could finally change -- because conservatives including Pat Roberts, Grover Norquist and Chris Christie hate it. "When these kinds of folks -- who have small government reasons for being against the war on drugs because they see it as a ridiculous waste of federal money and a ridiculously overdone federal program basically -- when ... they join the ranks of people with more humanitarian concerns like Russell Simmons, Danny Glover, Al Sharpton ... now all of the sudden what you have is, I think you have the beginnings of a real movement for change," Jarecki said. "The House I Live In" opens at West End Cinema on Oct. 12.
