Washington Examiner Opinion Editor David Freddoso was on FOX News this morning to promote his new book “Spin Masters: How the Media Ignored the Real News and Helped Reelect Barack Obama.”

“My old boss, Bob Novak, used to say that a reporter is someone who would sell his soul for a story,” Freddoso explained. “It’s just when the story would make Barack Obama look bad or his presidency look like a failure, there is a sudden total lack of journalistic curiosity, an unwillingness to sell one’s soul for a story.”

Freddoso explains that during the election the mainstream media ignored important stories such as Obama’s poor record on job creation and any damaging details on the terrorist attack in Benghazi.
