FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky businesses have until Monday to file their annual reports and pay a $15 filing fee with the secretary of state's office.
So far, more than 148,000 of Kentucky's 200,000 registered businesses have filed their paperwork. About 70 percent of those businesses filed online.
Companies already registered with the secretary of state can download the annual report from the secretary of state's website that has much of the information already completed. The website is http://www.sos.ky.gov .
Companies that do not file their annual reports by July 1 will be listed in bad standing and have 60 days to complete the report and pay the fee. Companies that don't file after the 60-day notice will no longer be authorized to do business in Kentucky.
