It's your inauguration, as the president always says, so you can cry if you want to. But the groups were flocking to the internet trying to mollify Obama supporters' pain after news broke Monday that Ticketmaster had accidentally put Inaugural Parade and Inaugural Ball tickets on sale early. And now they're sold out.

For one, the Democratic Governors Association tweeted a link to a contest they're holding, in which the winner gets airfare for two to D.C., accommodations and Inaugural Ball tickets. The contest ends at midnight on Jan. 14. Also DemList, an online calendar service for Democrats, has extended a contest where winners receive Inaugural Ball tickets and Uber rides. To win, folks must sign up for the service and donate $25.

In 2009, President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama attended 10 official inaugural balls, but this go around they will only be headed to two. One is for military personnel and the other is ticketed to the public, which helps explain why tickets were gone so fast.
