In an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, Sen. Mark Begich, D-Alaska, said if President Obama wanted to come to Alaska, he would "drag him around" the state to show him why so many of his policies are wrong.

"So if he wants to come up and learn about Alaska, bring it on," he said. "I'll drag him around. I'll show him whatever he wants to see, but I want to convince him and show him that some of his policies are not the right direction."

Begich made his comments after Tuesday night's State of the Union address, when Bash asked him if he would campaign with Obama in his state.

"I don't need him campaigning for me, I need him to change some of his policies," Begich said.
