Political leaders for years have denied the obvious: Campaigning and fundraising never end.

Until now: On Monday, Democratic Party Chairwoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz finally came clean.

"There is no offseason in politics," she said in a fundraising email 19 months before the next election. "If we want to celebrate in the months and years to come, we have to begin the work anew," she added.

There's no offseason in politics, even though I sometimes wish there was.

We had a victory to celebrate this past November because supporters like you laid the foundation for a successful organization months -- even years -- in advance of Election Day.

If we want to celebrate in the months and years to come, we have to begin the work anew.

Chip in $5 or more today, and let's do the critical work we need to build this organization from the ground up.

I know you gave it your all last year, and that you're probably tired of me asking for your help. But the work we do now is absolutely critical to the success of our President and our party in the weeks, months, and years to come.

It might be less glamorous than the work we did in November -- but it's no less important.

Help build this organization today:
