We hear and see them talk about the issues of the day, but can NPR's Diane Rehm and ABC "Nightline's Terry Moran actually act?

The duo will be given the chance next month at the Phillips Collection as they read a portion of Trish Vradenburg's play "Surviving Grace" at a charity event to benefit Alzheimer's research. Vradenburg, a playwright by trade, and her husband, former AOL executive George Vradenburg, founded the organization USAgainstAlzheimer's with the goal to obliterate the disease by 2020. The couple have been instrumental in getting high profile Washingtonians involved in the fight against Alzheimer's. Joining Rehm and Moran will be actress Marilu Henner, of "Taxi" fame, Dan Glickman, the former congressman and MPAA head who now does work for the Aspen Institute and the Bipartisan Policy Center and Meryl Comer, a noted Alzheimer's caregiver.

Tickets for "Opening Night: Surviving Grace" begin at $250 and can be purchased online. The benefit takes place Oct. 10.
