Who: House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.
What: She said this of Wednesday's contempt vote against Attorney General Eric Holder in the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee: "They're going after Eric Holder because he is supporting measures to overturn these voter suppression initiatives in the states. This is no accident, it is no coincidence. It is a plan on the part of Republicans."
Why it's dim: People died because of a government operation, and Holder is withholding documents about a possible cover-up from Congress. That's why they voted to hold him in contempt.
Cure: Fewer conspiracy theories.
