Singer Drake will be celebrating his birthday a little early this year. He's hosting a birthday bash to coincide with Howard Homecoming this week at the downtown nightclub the Park at 14th. (Drake's actual birthday is the 24th and he'll be turning 26 years old). On Friday, the singer will be joined by "Avatar" actor Laz Alonso. Tickets for the event are being sold for $20 and the show starts at 5 p.m., with the party scheduled to carry on until last call. The Park at 14th is also bringing in local rapper Wale for Thursday night's Howard-themed festivities. Comedian Kevin Hart will host a party at the venue on Saturday.
