Even though her husband, Dennis, won't be a member of Congress for much longer, Elizabeth Kucinich continues to be a presence. She recently set up a real estate business and continues to serve as the director of government affairs for the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, a group that champions veganism.

To ring in the new year, Kucinich was joined by 13 personalities as part of a project called VeganResolution.org, in which "celebrities" vowed to go vegan, or at least try to eat more veggies, in 2013. Since Kucinich and her husband are both already vegan, her resolution was to get more sleep. Others, like NBC's Meredith Vieira, pledged to take a step in the vegan direction. "I vow to use almond milk instead of milk in my coffee," Vieira promised.

Other vegans making resolutions included "Jackass" cast member Steve-O, No Doubt bassist Tony Kanal and former NBA champion John Salley, among others.
