Exit polls: Allow illegal immigrants to apply for legal status

As the conversation continues regarding Republicans and immigration, this FOX News exit poll number is particularly interesting.

Sixty-five percent of voters agreed that illegal immigrants working in the United States should be offered a chance to apply for legal status.

Only 28 percent said that they should be deported.

Update: I've updated this headline, as blogger Mickey Kaus correctly points out that legal status does not mean citizenship.
