A Chicago singer-songwriter plays an amazing Chicago summer song on a beautiful Chicago landmark. All we need now is celery salt and some sport peppers. Ezra Furman, who cut his teeth in our city, recently had his excellent folky-ish-rock album The Year Of No Returning re-released by Bar/None. (The label will release a brand new album, Day Of The Dog, in October.)  The fine people of Navy Pier allowed us to record Furman's cover of Wilco's "Heavy Metal Drummer" on their massive Ferris wheel on a beautiful summer day. (Keep an eye out for the moment when the people in the next car are visible.) Did you know the Ferris wheel was invented right here in Chicago? It was.
