A Fairfax man faces a manslaughter charge for a crash in Manassas that killed his friend, police said.

Jeffery Scott Davis Jr., 23, was charged Tuesday with involuntary manslaughter while under the influence of alcohol and for not wearing a seat belt. He was previously charged with DUI in the incident and remains held without bond.

The crash occurred Thanksgiving night on the 8500 block of Yorkshire Lane. Davis was under the influence of alcohol when the 2003 Chevrolet S-10 he was driving left the roadway, crossed into a ditch and rolled over, Prince William County police said.

Davis suffered minor injuries. His friend and passenger -- 25-year-old Roland Donald Reynolds Jr., of Manassas -- was ejected from the vehicle and died at a hospital.
