Fairfax County officials are surveying residents with disabilities in an effort to improve transportation options for them.

"Fairfax County wants to better understand the travel patterns and transportation needs of people with disabilities and older adults who live in Fairfax County, City of Fairfax and Falls Church," county Department of Family Services' Jill Clark wrote in an email.

The survey, available here, takes about 10 minutes to complete and asks basic questions about how residents get around.

The Fairfax Area Mobility and Transportation Committee sponsored the survey.
