A College Park man has been charged with vehicular homicide in a two-car accident that killed another Prince George's County man.

Michael O'Connor, 25, was indicted last week in the June 2012 death of 40-year-old Bernard Coatley Jr., of Chillum.

O'Connor was also charged with vehicular manslaughter, driving under the influence, reckless and negligent driving and speeding.

O'Connor was arrested Tuesday at a residence in the 5100 block of Iroquios Street in College Park.

According to police, the accident happened about around 3 a.m., June 24, in the 9200 block of Baltimore Avenue in College Park.

Coatley was driving south on Baltimore Avenue, attempting to make a left turn on Deleware Street when his vehicle was struck by a northbound Dodge Neon driving by O'Connor.
