The Baltimore FBI on Friday released the names of the two suspects involved in a Clarksville bank robbery Thursday that led to a police chase through several counties and the fatal shooting of one suspect.

Special Agent Rich Wolf said police shot and killed Omar Burnett, 24, of Silver Spring, after he, and two other suspects, bailed out of a Ford pickup in the Burtonsville area of Montgomery County and opened fire at officers.

The two remaining suspects escaped police, launching a manhunt until about 4 p.m. when one of them was captured in a residential area near University Boulevard West and Dennis Avenue in the Four Corners of Silver Spring, police said.

That suspect, Ainruhd Suhkho, 42, is facing bank robbery charges in federal court for the Bank of America robbery at 9:15 a.m. Thursday on Ten Oaks Road, in which a teller was shot in the hand, Wolf said.

The suspects led police on a chase through Howard, Anne Arundel, Prince George’s and Montgomery counties.

Wolf said the FBI has resumed an “active search” for the third suspect, whose name has not been released.

Montgomery County police had suspended the manhunt Thursday evening, believing the third suspect was no longer in the area.

Court records indicate Burnett pleaded guilty in April 2005 to a second-degree assault in Montgomery County District Court and received a suspended sentence of eight months in jail.

Suhkho does not have a prior criminal record in Maryland.
