Two-thirds of voters want to see Trump’s tax returns

Donald Trump is under mounting pressure to release his federal tax returns and despite his campaign’s repeated claim that Americans “don’t care” about seeing them, a new poll strongly suggests otherwise.

According to the latest Morning Consult survey of registered U.S. voters, 67 percent believe every presidential candidate should be required to release his or her tax returns, including 60 percent of Republican voters.
