Englewood-based SofTec Solutions Inc. said in a written statement Tuesday that it was shocked to learn of the allegations against Franklin Sain, who was arrested Friday on suspicion of harassment and attempting to influence a public official.
Denver police say Sain is suspected of sending emails, a voicemail and an anonymous letter threatening Democratic Rep. Rhonda Fields of Aurora.
SofTec Solutions Inc. says Sain has been suspended pending a company investigation. It says it is a minority-owned, small business that won't tolerate racial, sexual, gender-based slurs or threats of violence by employees.
Sain's attorney Siddhartha Rathod contends Sain's free-speech rights are being trampled on.
