CINCINNATI (AP) — First Lady Michelle Obama will campaign in Ohio on the first day of early voting in the battleground state.

President Barack Obama's campaign said she will emphasize get-out-the-vote efforts in a rally Tuesday afternoon at Cincinnati's downtown convention center.

She campaigned for her husband in Dayton in late July, and was in Cincinnati in February.

Obama's campaign said earlier he will return to Ohio next Thursday for an evening rally in Columbus, followed by a Friday rally in Cleveland.

Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan will be in Ohio this Saturday for a U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance rally in Columbus. The hunting enthusiast campaigned earlier this week in Lima, Cincinnati and the Dayton area.
