First Lady Michelle Obama told supporters to think of the last 11 days of this election as if it’s a “horrible workout” coming to a close.

“Treat these 11 days like the last five minutes of a horrible workout,” Mrs. Obama, who has emphasized the need for physical fitness–  especially among children — over the last four years, told donors today in California. You can get through anything.  Just bear down.  Don’t look at the clock too much.”

She especially requested more money. “Keep writing those checks,” she said.  “If you have not maxed, max out.” Individuals can give no more than $2,400 to a single candidate’s campaign.
