Fifty years after Ford’s first Mustang model made its debut at the 1964 World’s Fair in New York City, the new 2015 model has made it to the top of the Empire State Building. No, it didn’t climb the walls like King Kong. It wasn’t airlifted up there either. Engineers cut up one of the cars and took the pieces to to the top where it was reassembled, for the buzz. Ford chose the right place and the right time to launch their message about the new Mustang. Buzz is very important for helping a new product succeed.
