Ford to Recall 35,000 Pickup Trucks for Fire Hazard; Shares

Ford Motor Co. (F) is up near 1% after it opened flat at $14.66, slipped four cents to its low and rebounded after recalling about 35,000 pickup trucks and crossover vehicles because of possible fuel leaks and electrical shorts that could lead to fires. Ford said about 25,000 2010 Ranger pickups are being recalled for the problem, according to the AP. Separately, Ford is recalling more than 9,000 trucks and crossovers to fix a software problem that could also result in a fire.
