That was fast. Just a month after former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took her final bow at the State Department, the administration is moving to warm relations with Israel and suggesting that new Secretary of State John Kerry is the man to do it.

Speaking to American Israel Public Affairs Committee's policy conference on Monday, Vice President Joe Biden praised Kerry as a champion of Israel. He cited the former Massachusetts senator's bash on anti-Semitic rhetoric during his first world tour.

"By the way, he's a good man," said Biden. "You're going to be happy with Kerry."

Clinton has long been a champion of Israel, but often had to deal with the impression that her boss, President Obama, was aloof when it came to the Jewish State. In addition, she was criticized a little over a year ago for expressing worries about the future of democracy and women rights in Israel.
