For the day after the election, the folks at Sixth & I Synagogue are bringing in former Cosmopolitan magazine Editor-in-Chief Kate White to discuss her book "I Shouldn't Be Telling You This: Success Secrets Every Gutsy Girl Should Know," which came out last month. White will take the stage Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. and will sign books afterward. Tickets for the event cost $10 or attendees can receive two tickets for free with a book purchase for $25 through Sixth & I. White, who spent fourteen years at the women's magazine, recommends that women find jobs they are truly passionate for and "get buzzed about" in the workplace, without worrying what other people might think.
