Four juveniles arrested for Rockville playground fire

Four juveniles were arrested in connection with an intentionally set fire that destroyed a Rockville playground, Montgomery County fire officials said Thursday.

The fire was set on the evening of Nov. 21, at Rockville Civic Center Park, located in the 600 block of Edmonston Drive.

Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the flames once they arrived at the scene. Officials said that the fire caused an estimated $160,000 in damages.

The juveniles, whose names are not being released, were arrested shortly after the incident on charges of arson.
