Vanity Fair has published a few excerpts of Zev Chafets’ forthcoming biography of FOX News chief Roger Ailes – who admits that he likes Vice President Joe Biden.
“I have a soft spot for Joe Biden,” he said. “I like him. But he’s dumb as an ashtray.”
Other interesting nuggets include Ailes’ disdain for Newt Gingrich – “He’s a sore loser and if he had won he would have been a sore winner,” he asserts.
While Obama was running for President, Ailes explains, the candidate was concerned about the way that Sean Hannity portrayed him on the network.
“Nobody who watches Sean’s going to vote for you anyway,” Ailes replied.
