Vice President Biden made an eventful visit to Sarasota, Fla., restaurant Station 400 on Wednesday afternoon. In the span of eight minutes, the VP posed for photos, accepted compliments from some enthusiastic older women (one of whom called him "gorgeous"), chatted with one woman's mother by phone ("I can tell by the accent you're not from Florida," Biden said. "God love you"), debated health care with a Romney supporter, joked that he's running for president in 2016 and was briefly distracted by a toy train riding high up along the wall. "Hey," he said, "that's cool."
