FX picks up 'American Horror Story' for third season

FX announced on Thursday that "American Horror Story" will be back for a third season. The show, currently in its second season, stars Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Chloe Sevigny, James Cromwell and Joseph Fiennes. It is produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. who are the co-creators of "Glee." The show was nominated for 17 Emmys and is one of the highest rated shows on cable.
