Gabriel Aubry may have taken a beating on Thanksgiving, but now he's fighting back in court. Gabriel, Halle Berry's ex and the father of her 4-year-old daughter, Nahla, got into a fight with Halle's fiance, Olivier Martinez, last Thursday.

According to reports, Gabriel was dropping Nahla off at Halle's home when things got violent between the two men. After punches were thrown, both parties were taken to the hospital and Gabriel was arrested. And judging by the mug shot that was released, Gabriel bore the brunt of the fight.

But after looking like the bad guy in the press, Gabriel is telling his side of the story in court. When he filed a restraining order against Olivier (which was granted), he claimed the French actor threatened to kill him when he was dropping Nahla off and that the 4-year-old is afraid of Olivier. Gabe claims Olivier's anger stems from a judge recently denying Halle a move to France with her daughter. He claims Olivier said, "You cost us $3 million," while he was punching and kicking him in the driveway and threatened to kill him if he didn't move to Paris.

Halle's baby daddy also claims the fight would have been caught on Halle's security cameras, but he fears the footage will be erased.

According to People magazine, sources close to Halle say Gabriel's account of what happened is fiction worthy of Hollywood.

Unlucky in love

Tina and Joe Simpson aren't the only ones in the family going through a split.

Ashlee Simpson and "Boardwalk Empire" star Vincent Piazza have called it quits after dating for a year and a half. "Vincent has been working a lot, so he hasn't been able to spend as much time with Ashlee, which has caused some problems," a source told the New York Post. "It was a mutual agreement to split, but things have been bumpy for a little while, so perhaps they might reconcile."

The youngest Simpson singer and the man many know as Lucky Luciano started dating in 2011, shortly after Ashlee divorced Pete Wentz, the father of her 4-year-old son, Bronx.

This is happening

Disney has announced Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel, best known to "Boy Meets World" fans as Cory Matthews and Topanga Lawrence, will reprise their roles in a new spinoff pilot called "Girl Meets World."

The show is still in the early stages of development, Us Weekly reports, but it will center around Cory and Topanga's 13-year-old daughter, Riley.

"I'm going to be a father! Well, on TV at least. The Boy Meets World sequel is officially happening!" Ben, 32, tweeted. Danielle, 31, posted a fan appreciation letter on Tumblr, saying fans are the reason the spinoff was possible.
