A senior at Gallaudet University was arrested after police found marijuana in her dorm room, including some that was in fudge bars, according to media reports.

Molly Sachs was charged Monday with felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, court records show. She has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Feb. 19.

Authorities searched Sachs' dorm room in Northeast Washington after a resident assistant smelled marijuana. Police found pot, prescription pills and $1,460 in cash, according to media reports that cited court documents. Authorities believe that Sachs planned to distribute the drugs.

School officials told media outlets that the university is cooperating with D.C. police's investigation into the matter.
