Metro's new 7000 series railcar

The new 7000 rail car features a slightly wider aisle than Metro's other rail cars to give wheelchairs more room to maneuver and it has a color-coded spot designating where wheelchairs can park. It does not have a central pole for riders to hold onto, which gets in the way of wheelchair users in other cars. But it lacks the securing holds for such chairs found in other rail models.
