Firefighter Lt Gary Rogers of the Engine 8 blood washing unit washes away a blood trail along the sidewalk on North Capitol Street. Eleven people were injured in a drive-by shooting, which occurred around 2:10 a.m. Monday morning, in front of Tyler House Apartments in the 1200 block of North Capitol Street NW. The apartment complex is 1 mile north of the U.S. Capitol.
