Chris Matthews: “Haters” dislike Obama because of his race

Chris Matthews is back to calling the Right racist once again, this time implying all those Republican “haters” refuse to give President Obama any credit for his accomplishments — simply because he’s black.

The ‘Hardball with Chris Matthews‘ host closed out his show Thursday night by lambasting Republicans who dislike the President. To Matthews, they dislike the POTUS not because of his hurtful policies or the scandals that have plagued his administration, but because of his skin color.

“You can discount it all,” he said of the GOP’s criticism of Obama. “You can say it’s not about race or whatever. You can say it.”

Matthews used the words “hate” or “haters” nine times in his diatribe against Republicans, claiming they refuse to acknowledge Obama’s achievements — such as killing bin Laden or being a model husband and father.

“And I don’t have to be the one to tell you, we live in a country where a good chunk of the country hates its elected president, and won’t really — I mean really — tell you why,” he finished. “It’s the same reason they spend there time thinking of clever gimmicks to keep so many people from voting.”
