For once, the actress wasn't the biggest celebrity in the room. On Thursday, "Slumdog Millionaire" beauty Freida Pinto stopped by the World Bank to promote the documentary "Girls Rising" at the movie's D.C. premiere. Pinto was not only flanked by World Bank President Jim Yong Kim, but also Ban Ki-moon, the secretary-general of the United Nations. "As some of you may have heard, the World Bank is a happening place now," Kim said, greeting the crowd that was packed into the World Bank's atrium. "And we're glad to have you here for our regular Thursday party, which looks just like this."

Before her appearance at the World Bank, we hear that Pinto linked up with Karma by Erwin Gomez's hair stylist Peggy Ioakim. Ioakim described the Indian actress as "one of the sweetest and most down-to-earth celebrities I have had the pleasure of working with."
