Grain futures mixed, beef prices rise


CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures mostly fell Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery slipped 0.25 cent to $6.805 a bushel; July corn rose 13.5 cents to $6.685 a bushel; July oats fell 3 cents to $3.965 a bushel; while July soybeans fell 4 cents to $15.125 a bushel.

Beef prices rose, while pork prices fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 0.93 cent to $1.1925 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 1.12 cent to $1.4452 a pound; July lean hogs slipped 0.07 cent to 97.95 cents a pound.
